...so I was looking for a number of memory cards for my digital camera as my wife and I were going away on holiday and I decided to check down the town for them.
First place I called into was a chemist shop beside St Peters church. The card that I wanted, they would sell to me at the price of 199 Euro.
I thought that was a bit dear so I went and tried a different shop, the Kodak shop down the lane way beside the Penny's. For the EXACT same memory card, they wanted to charge me 99.00 Euro.
I though that was better

Before I went and handed over my cash, I suddenly remembered that I had to be in Dublin the next day anyway so I would check up there to be stubborn.
What do you know! As soon as I stepped off the bus in O'Connell's street and headed for the first camera shop I fell across in it, I saw the type pf memory cards in the window I wanted - the only thing was that the capacity they had was double.... Still I went in and asked the price, the reply... 49 Euro!

I asked him was he sure of the price, he said "yes". I didn't hesitate twice.
By just one 10 Euro bus trip I had saved a serious amount of money AND doubled the capacity of the product for my camera to take pictures.
Its crazy, why are the Drogheda people being ripped off? ...don't tell us that running a business is cheaper in Dublin!
