Good to see that the Drogheda Independent has printed a shortened version of the letter I sent to them.

I am not complaining against the Drogheda Corporation/council and their efforts to improve the town, they should be congratulated wholeheartedly.

Rather, for the money that the construction company is receiving for reviving the towns main avenue, the building business surely should be doing a better job of the extreme large funds that the Drogheda Corporation (and people) have had to gather for the work to begin.

The patchwork that is now evident across the town is a show of how a construction business can make a mess of a job even thought the funds have been provided for the job to be done properly!

I wish the Drogheda council good luck in seeing that the construction company completes their assigned tasks the right way... eventually.
Till then we must all just hang in there.
