|
|
I was looking for a new computer keyboard. It was a Logitech cordless MX3000.
I tried Dixons in Scotch Hall, well they were useless because of their shop size, they had bugger all stock.
The Office Center didn't deal in them.
Another PC shop over by the bus station didn't have them but tried to sell me another version for 129 Euro!!!
I rang Harvey Normans on one of our industrial estates (yes, the same one that states on the building "we won't be beaten on price or service" - want to bet!) and they quoted me a price of 130 Euro. Not in stock but would take days to get.
So I rang PCworld in Dundalk and they told me they had it in stock and the price was... 59 Euro!
This is not the first time I have come across this type of money grabbing rip-off that the town is suffering from.
I'm all for keeping money and business in the town but how do the shops expect us to keep shopping here if they way over inflate the prices we are being charged!
Disgraceful! |
